Quais foram os carrer high’s (maior pontuação) dos principais jogadores da história da NBA
O termo carrer high é bastante popular na NBA, e significa, em tradução literal, “pico da carreira”, ou seja, é a maior estatística conquistada por um jogador em determinado aspecto do jogo. Existem 5 principais estatísticas individuais em um jogo de basquete e são elas: Pontos, Rebotes, Assistências, roubos de bola e Bloqueios (tocos). Neste artigo iremos revisitar os carrer high’s dos principais jogadores da história da NBA, incluindo Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’neal, Magic Johnson e várias outras estrelas. Só comentaremos os pontos altos de jogadores aposentados, visto que os ainda em atividade podem superar suas marcas atuais.
Wilt Chamberlain
Começaremos com um lendário jogador da NBA que ostenta uma marca que dificilmente será superada. Wilt Chamberlain foi um dos maiores jogadores da história da liga, e o que torna o jogador tão popular até hoje é o seu carrer high de pontos, o maior da história da liga. Além do famoso recorde de pontos em uma única partida, Wilt também é o recordista na quantidade de rebotes em uma única partida. Vamos as estatísticas do jogador:
PTS: 100 pontos (recorde da liga)
REB: 55 rebotes (recorde da liga)
AST: 21 assistências
No caso de Wilt Chamberlain e de alguns outros jogadores da lista, não é possível incluir os recordes de Roubos de bola e de Tocos, pois essas estatísticas passaram a ser contabilizadas apenas a partir de 1973.
Michael Jordan
Considerado pela grande maioria dos fãs da NBA como o melhor jogador de todos os tempos, Michael Jordan não tem carrer high’s tão impressionantes considerando o seu nível técnico, mas ainda assim ostenta números bastante altos, principalmente em pontos e roubos de bola.

Larry Bird
