Ranking HLTV – O que é e a classificação atual
O HLTV.org é um portal especializado em Counter-Strike desde os primórdios do jogo, foi lançado no início dos anos 2000. E até hoje é o maior portal de notícias, informações e resultados do FPS mais famoso do mundo. O ranking do HLTV é o principal ranking do mundo, por contemplar desde as maiores equipes do mundo até os times desconhecidos.
O site cobre desde os pequenos campeonatos até os grandes torneios, como o Major. O atual formato surgiu em 2015 e se mantém com as mesmas pontuações até hoje. O ranking é atualizado semanalmente e conta com mais de 140 equipes.
Como é calculada a classificação do Ranking HLTV?
O ranking mundial é baseado nas conquistas das equipes no ano passado (com queda acentuada de pontos ao longo de cada mês), forma recente nos últimos 2 meses e desempenho nos últimos 10 eventos em LAN.
Portanto, as pontuações que formam o ranking são referentes aos campeonatos acontecidos nos últimos 12 meses.
O time vai acumulando pontos durante 1 ano. E com o passar dos torneios o time que fica sem jogar ou não conquista boas colocações nos torneios vai perdendo espaço no ranking.
Ao mesmo tempo que alguns times vão perdendo espaço, outros ganham colocações muito rápido por vencerem equipes que tem um ranking maior que o seu.
Por exemplo a Winstrike que ficou na segunda colocação do Road to Rio – CIS na semana passada, por terem ficado na frente de equipes acima do ranking como Virtus.pro e Natus Vincere, ganharam apenas em uma semana 15 posições no ranking e agora ocupam a 24a colocação.

Dessa forma, podemos notar que a equipe dinamarquesa da Astralis vem bastante dominante no cenário atual, eles conquistaram os últimos 3 majors e tem para muitos o maior time da história de Counter-Strike. Eles estão quase 200 pontos na frente da Natus Vincere da estrela s1mple, que foi o melhor jogador do mundo eleito pelo HLTV em 2018 e 2° melhor em 2019.
Então, aparecem no top 15 do mundo duas equipes brasileiras, a FURIA na 9a colocação com 315 pontos e os bi campeões do Major do MiBR que não vivem uma grande fase e ocupam a 15a posição com 211 pontos somados.
