Ultimamente temos nos deparado com a aparição constante desse campeão que por muito tempo ficou sumido do cenário competitivo de LOL.
E quando eu falo aparição constante, quer dizer constante mesmo. Na final do CBLOL tivemos Graves presente nas 3 partidas disputadas.
Além disso ele apareceu muitas vezes também em ambas as semifinais da mesma competição, e também nos playoffs de todas as grandes ligas ao redor do mundo. Até mesmo a LPL, LCK e VCS.
Porém para entender o motivo desse campeão estar aparecendo dessa maneira por si só, requer um grande conhecimento de LOL.
E isso é tão verdade que grande parte das torcidas de alguns times brasileiros que jogaram e perderam de Graves estão criticando a escolha do campeão sem ao menos tentar entender o que se passa ali. Vamos entender o porquê do Graves estar tão forte.
Desempenho do Graves
Primeiramente, é um campeão extremamente cabível a ser escolhido no first pick, pois ele não possui muitas matchups difíceis. Além de ele ser muito bom contra Trundle, que alguns patchs do jogo atrás, era uma das escolhas mais poderosas para a selva.
Além disso, a sua escolha de runas é muito flexível. Ele pode escolher runas voltadas para dano explosivo, ou um pouco de cura, ou muita velocidade de movimento.
O principal objetivo do Graves no jogo é conseguir abrir uma vantagem grande de farm após fechar o item do golpear, que faz com que ele fique num pico de poder muito grande no meio do jogo (mid game).
Entretanto, dependendo da partida, é possível que esse item demore mais a chegar por conta de que o Graves precise dar suporte para alguma rota que tem muita desvantagem no começo da partida.
Mas para todos os casos, após ele obter esse item ele vai conseguir farmar muita mais rápido que a maioria dos outros caçadores, e se manter 1, 2, ou até 3 leveis na frente por algum momento.
Sua itemização também pode ser flexível. Existem vários caminhos que alguém jogando de Graves pode tomar na sua construção de itens. Geralmente contra campeões frágeis você vai querer fazer letalidade. Principalmente se estiver muito a frente em ouro.
Mas você também pode ir para uma build mais defensiva, possuindo um pouco menos de dano, e bastante resistência.
Resistência
É importante salientar que independente da build, o Graves vai ser bem resistente contra campeões que aplicam dano físico. Pois a passiva de uma das suas habilidades concede acúmulos de armadura temporários quando a habilidade é ativada, Graves consegue ficar com valores bem maiores que 200 de armadura facilmente mesmo com uma itemização totalmente voltada para dano de ataque.
Com os argumentos apresentados, nos fica a dúvida. Por que Graves tem sido tão criticado?
A verdade, é que no Brasil, como o nosso nível técnico é bastante inferior ao nível técnico das grandes ligas, esse campeão acaba não tendo um win rate tão alto quanto lá fora.
