Se você é apaixonado por futebol, sem dúvidas já ouviu falar no VAR (Video Assistant Referee) que significa árbitro assistente de vídeo, o que nada mais é, do que uma sala, dentro do estádio, com quatro pessoas, sendo elas: o operador do equipamento, o assistente VAR, supervisor de impedimento e o árbitro VAR e que assistem aos vídeos da partida.
Alguns torcedores amam essa tecnologia, enquanto outros, odeio, mas o que é inegável é que o VAR tem causado polêmica e mudado o rumo das partidas do futebol brasileiro.
Por mais que pareça recente e se tratando de eventos esportivos de grande porte, o uso de imagens para definir resultados, já era usado a mais de 100 anos atrás, como por exemplo, nas Olimpíadas de 1912, em Estocolmo, na Suécia, quando um sistema de cronômetros sincronizados com uma câmera foi usado para registrar o vencedor e os outros colocados de uma das modalidades olímpicas mais nobres, o atletismo.
Desde então, várias outras modalidades do esporte foram dando um jeito de implantar imagens e reforçarem a tecnologia a favor da justiça contra os possíveis erros de arbitragem.
VAR no futebol
A ideia de implantar o árbitro de vídeo no futebol, vem sendo discutida há décadas, porém nunca havia sido encaminhada por uma série de motivos. Primeiramente, havia uma rejeição por parte das entidades que controlam o esporte e que viam o VAR como uma ferramenta que iria interferir de forma brusca e direta no resultado do jogo.
Em segundo, o alto preço dos equipamentos a serem utilizados, visto que as dimensões dos campos são maiores e existem vários lances a serem revisados e não apenas o gol.
Depois de um escândalo de corrupção na FIFA, em 2015, as coisas mudaram e um novo discurso de justiça e ordem no futebol começou a crescer.
A partir daí, os testes com o VAR começaram e o primeiro deles foi em um amistoso do PSV, na Holanda, em 2016. Após o sucesso, o arbitro de vídeo foi levado ao primeiro jogo oficial, um confronto entre Ajax x Willem II, pela Copa da Holanda, no mesmo ano.
Já em 2018, na Copa do Mundo da Rússia, todos os jogos contaram com a tecnologia e várias partidas tiveram outro rumo devido ao equipamento.
Já no Brasil, o VAR estreou no Brasileirão em 2019, mas já vinha sendo usado desde 2018, como por exemplo, na fase final da Copa do Brasil e desde então tem causado escândalos, então separamos 5 que consideramos os mais polêmicos.
Botafogo x Palmeiras (2019)
Uma das polêmicas mais comentadas no Campeonato Brasileiro, aconteceu logo na 6ª rodada e foi parar até no STJD. Em uma partida entre Botafogo e Palmeiras, o jogador palmeirense Deyverson foi derrubado pelo jogador do time adversário, Gabriel, dentro da área, mas o árbitro Paulo Roberto Alves não viu o lance como pênalti. Porém, depois do VAR sugerir que o juiz revisasse, a penalidade foi marcada. O time carioca reclama que o jogo já havia sido recomeçado quando o juiz foi conferir a imagem na cabine.
Santos x Flamengo (2020)
Um dos jogos mais controversos do Brasileirão em 2020, foi entre o Santos e o Flamengo pela 6ª rodada da competição e contou com dois gols anulados do Santos, que até hoje, os dois são questionáveis.
O primeiro impedimento foi milimétrico sem que as imagens fossem divulgadas e o segundo, por uma suposta interferência de Jobson, que não tocou na bola, mas teria atrapalhado a ação de Diego Alves, após a cobrança da falta de Marinho.
Já outro ponto que foi absurdo no jogo, foi o tempo de paralisação, que somados, a revisão dos dois lances, levaram praticamente onze minutos.
Internacional x Vasco (2021)
No ano passado, o Vasco foi derrotado pelo Internacional durante o Brasileirão, porém um possível impedimento de Rodrigo Dourado não pode ser checado no VAR, por problemas técnicos e o gol foi marcado.
Mesmo com um pedido de desculpas por parte da empresa contratada e pela incomum ocorrência, também se trata de um erro por parte do VAR que não checou as câmeras antes da partida, o que poderia ter evitado a ocorrência.
Goiás x Corinthians (2022)
O Brasileirão deste ano, mal havia começado e o VAR já estava dando o que falar, colecionando mais erros do que rodadas disputadas no campeonato.
Até o momento, o Flamengo é o time mais prejudicado pelo árbitro de vídeo e o Internacional é o mais beneficiado.
Em junho deste ano por exemplo, o Goiás ficou revoltado com a derrota por 1 a 0 para o Corinthians, considera que houve dois erros durante a partida: o pênalti marcado a favor do Timão, que resultou no gol da vitória e uma penalidade supostamente não dada a favor da equipe do Goiás em um lance, que o zagueiro Robson Bambu puxa a camisa do atacante Pedro Raúl, mas juiz e VAR nada marcam.
Cruzeiro x Ituano (2022)
Já no mês passado, em um jogo na Série B, entre Cruzeiro e Ituano, o VAR errou ao traçar as linhas de impedimento e acabou anulando um gol do atacante cruzeirense Edu, um erro que para os torcedores e jogadores é inaceitável.
O uso do árbitro de vídeo no futebol brasileiro tem sido alvo de frequentes reclamações dos clubes e é evidente que o uso da tecnologia precisa com urgência ser melhorado e mais eficiente.
Durante uma partida de futebol, várias câmeras estão espalhadas pelo campo e filmam em diferentes ângulos.
